BLOOM! (UNGARN/GROßBRITANNIEN)

CITY

„Lächeln”, befiehlt eine trockene Navi-Stimme aus dem Off. „Sei traurig. Rechts. Links.” Die Füße gehorchen. Der Rest müht sich. Was soll man nicht alles sein: Elegant, emotional und professionell, dabei auch sexy, unterhaltsam und perfektionistisch. Leider ist man aber auch asthmatisch, neurotisch, hysterisch und impulsiv. Ein „mit Bewegung durchwebtes Pamphlet” nennen die Mitglieder der Gruppe Bloom! ihr Stück über die Stadt von heute – CITY. Quer durch alle Vorurteile und Genres tanzen sie es als Volkstanz, als rhythmisierte Absurditätsmaschine, als konstruktivistische Formation – direkt, angstfrei und ironisch.     
 
Mit ihrem ersten kollektiven Werk gewann die junge ungarische Gruppe BLOOM! 2010 den Rudolf Laban Award und eine Residenz bei Jardin d’Europe.
